Description
The All-Round Extinguisher for Perth Workplaces
Walk into almost any office, warehouse, factory or shop in Australia and you’ll find a 4.5kg fire extinguisher Perth on the wall. There’s a good reason for that. It covers the widest range of common fire risks in a single unit, carries enough agent to tackle a developing fire, and is still light enough for most staff to lift and use.
If you need one extinguisher type to protect a general work area, this is usually it.
Fire Classes Covered
- Class A – paper, timber, cardboard, fabric, plastics and rubbish
- Class B – flammable and combustible liquids such as petrol, diesel, oils, solvents and paints
- Class E – energised electrical equipment, including switchboards, computers, machinery and power tools
The ABE powder knocks down flames quickly by interrupting the combustion reaction and forming a barrier over burning material.
Not suitable for: Class F cooking oil and fat fires. For kitchens with fryers, use a wet chemical extinguisher. In server rooms or around sensitive electronics, a CO2 extinguisher avoids powder residue.

Regular vs High-Performance 4.5kg
This is the regular 4.5kg ABE model, suited to most offices, retail and general workplaces. High-performance versions use a different powder blend for a higher Class B rating, which can be useful in fuel stores, workshops and industrial sites with larger flammable liquid risks. Not sure which you need? NeonSafety can assess your site and advise.
