Reliable, Multi-Purpose Fire Protection in a Compact Size

The 1.5 kg ABE fire extinguisher is one of the most versatile portable extinguishers available in Australia. Small enough to mount in a car, ute or caravan, yet capable enough for the home, office or workshop, it gives you fast first-response protection against the most common fire risks.

At NeonSafety, we supply fire safety equipment to homes and businesses across Perth and Western Australia, so you’re buying from a local team who also inspects, tests and maintains fire equipment, not just sells it.

What Fires Does an ABE Extinguisher Put Out?

ABE dry chemical powder extinguishers are rated for three fire classes:

  • Class A – ordinary combustibles such as paper, wood, cardboard, fabric and plastics
  • Class B – flammable and combustible liquids such as petrol, diesel, oils, paints and solvents
  • Class E – fires involving energised electrical equipment, such as switchboards, computers and appliances

The fine powder interrupts the chemical reaction of the fire and smothers the fuel, knocking flames down quickly.

Not suitable for: Class F fires (cooking oils and fats). For kitchen deep-fryer risks, use a wet chemical extinguisher or fire blanket.

Ideal Uses

  • Cars, utes, 4WDs and trucks
  • Caravans, campervans and boats
  • Home kitchens, garages and sheds
  • Small offices, shops and reception areas
  • Workshops and tool rooms
  • Tradie vans and work vehicles
